The Power of the Reset: Stepping into 2026 with Quiet Confidence

It’s been a little quiet over here since November... and honestly? That was intentional.

As the founder of Ring of Color, I spend a lot of time talking about the importance of protecting our energy and honoring our need for space. As we moved through the holiday season and into the new year of 2026, I decided to take my own advice. I took a step back to breathe, to reflect, and to ensure that when I returned to this space, I was bringing you my most authentic self.

I originally sat down in December to film a series called "The 12 Days of Quiet Confidence." My intention was to post one video every day leading up to Christmas, a little gift of encouragement for my fellow introverts during the loudest month of the year.

But halfway through, the "social hangover" hit. Between the holiday rush and the pressure of the end-of-year hustle, I realized I wasn’t speaking from a place of calm anymore...I was speaking from a place of exhaustion.

So, I made a choice. I took a reset.

I decided to pause the series and carry those remaining days into January. It felt like the right move. After all, what better time to reclaim our quiet power than in the fresh, still energy of a brand-new year?

We are currently in the final stretch of the series, and honestly, these lessons feel even more relevant now. We’ve touched on everything from the "Art of the Exit" to the "Mid-Day Reset."

Whether you’re reaching for a subtle Lip Oil for a slow morning or our Vinyl Lip Lacquer (I’ve been wearing the shade Ana a lot lately) for a polished look, the message remains the same: You don’t have to be the loudest person in the room to be the most impactful.

While I took some time off from the blog since November, my mind hasn't stopped moving. I’ve spent these "quiet months" thinking about what Ring of Color looks like in 2026.

This year isn't about doing more just for the sake of it. It’s about doing things better. We are looking forward to expanding our collection with more intentional, thoughtful products designed specifically for the way you live and breathe.

I’m entering this year with a clear vision and a full heart. Thank you for being patient with me while I took the space I needed. It’s good to be back.

With quiet confidence,
